Destination Wedding Photographer in Italy Alexandra Kukushkina

My name is Alexandra Kukushkina. I’m a professional photographer based in Italy and I'm specialized in wedding, family and portrait photography.

I can speak Italian/English/Russian languages, but my “mother tongue” – the language of photography, which is understandable without words.

My main photo shooting destinations are: Florence (and Tuscany), Venice and Bologna. I also love shooting weddings, engagements and elopements on the Lakes of Northern Italy (Como, Garda, Maggiore). I am really up for traveling that’s why I’m ready to work all around Italy and in other countries.

For me photography is a way to reflect our reality: I don’t mechanically take pictures of people, I’m trying to transmit their emotions through the prism of my camera.

I’m not a good writer, but I want to be a good storyteller… and photography gives me a way to narrate your intimate stories, memories, remaining in silence and capturing unique moments of your lives. I really adore working with couples – it’s a great pleasure and honor to “immortalize” their moments, their stories, full of vivid colors and emotions.

The only thing I do – I try to catch every single moment with a help of my camera. Without posed smiles and fake emotions, because the “natural way of taking photos” is the best one to get organic and harmonious shoots.
